- listed as having NFS number 32A3Z. Possibly a collection of huts which were constructed in the backyard of Ladymead for extra NFS/AFS crews. They may have been designated A3Z.
OR
Another explanation is that Guildford received a number of female fire fighters from Scandinavian countries, who were trained in pump operation etc. and were allocated a base in Guildford at the Warren Road Hospital (not far from Ladymead). Because of the heavy manual work they never attended incidents without male support but possibly this location was designated A3Z.
